We have split or Management Essentials modular programme into 3 virtual online sessions. It has been designed to give your managers the fundamental skills needed to begin forging the path to becoming a well defined, well rounded manager.

Start the Journey to Becoming an Exceptional Manager
Nine Dots Development’s Management Essentials courses teaches fundamental management skills, this coupled with our thorough followup processes ensure that the skills acquired in our workshops are translated back into the workplace.
In 3 modules taught over 3 days, participants develop practical experience and management strategy by working through individual models and tools.
At the end of the full 3 day course participants will:
- Have the operational skills needed to allow them to communicate with their team effectively to produce results from the start
- Develop the interpersonal skills that allow better, more robust and trustworthy relationships within their teams
- Have an insight into what a successful team looks like and the knowledge to then put actions to into practice to grow a high performance team

Understanding the Role of a Manager and Defining Team
This course gives managers an understanding of their role and helps them balance their management approach in order to achieve the best results. The workshop explores effective time management and provides strategies to delegate successfully. Managers learn to set objectives that give clear direction to the team. The focus then moves to the key skill of communication and how to overcome the barriers presented by miscommunication. The course concludes with creating a clear plan for future development in the role.

Wednesday 13th May
Communicating Effectively to Get the Best from Your Team
This course will give managers a deeper understanding of communication and how to build stronger relationships with their team members as well as their wider network. We will explore the causes of conflict and how to overcome it, as well as how to create good working relationships through assertiveness, feedback, and leadership style. The course concludes with the opportunity for participants to practice modifying their communication delivery for greater impact.

Developing and Coaching Your Team for Success
This course gives managers an insight into how they can create a culture of team development. The manager explores how to identify development gaps, motivate performance and encourage the team to progress to success. Managers are trained on how to listen and ask questions effectively to be able to coach and empower their team.
